I drew a path of light toward peace and an emerald path that brings gentle feelings. The colorful world evokes a sense of joy. I hope that by looking at this drawing, people will feel peace.

Peace Amid Limitations

On an old bicycle, a grandfather carries his grandson with great affection, while deflated balloons wave behind him. Even though the situation was not perfect, the grandfather's smile still radiated calm and happiness. This work reminds us that true peace is not about material circumstances, but about love, sincerity and togetherness which bring calm to every step of life.

Judge's Comment

I wonder what the two are happily discussing while riding on their grandfather’s bicycle. Perhaps they’re talking about what happened at school, their friends, or what’s for dinner tonight… This heartwarming scene evokes a comforting nostalgia.
