We love this work because of its brilliant combination of eye-catching color and complex multitude of shapes, intertwined (even more importantly) with an important social & political message - expressing hope and peace for the world. Currently we are living globally in a tumultuous time, and works of art like this show the hope and optimism for our future, without ignoring the conflicts that run counter to that peace. This work is very sophisticated in it's messaging, especially for an artist so young.

Peace for me looks like a place where creativity thrive. The red heart sofa is a symbol of love and comfort, while the Hello Kitty guitar gives me childlike sense of joy and whimsy. Comforting objects create a safe emotional space. The green screen behind the girl in my art symbolizes the potential for transformation, where one can go to any world one desires, perhaps one without conflict or wars, where peace thrives.

Creativity has always been a driving force for peace; a force that connects people instead of separating them: and this work of art acknowledges that beautiful aspect of human nature so perfectly. The subject of the painting has found peace and joy through the process of artistic creation, and this painting conveys that in a way that is both efficient and beautiful to look at. The composition and complimentary color palette further reinforce the underlying message.
