I met some stray cats while walki. They looked skinny. The next day, I and fed the stray cats.
Judge's Comment
The composition is very intriguing, and I felt a sense of kindness and warmth throughout the work. The expressions of the cats and the girl’s smile in response to them are particularly striking, while the background blends in naturally and adds further interest. The choice to depict the scene without the use of color also seems to convey the sense of kindness even more strongly.

This work is exceptionally well-executed, with the gentle expressions of the three girls and the warmth that pervades the entire piece leaving a strong impression. I was moved by the carefully detailed rendering and thoughtful use of color, which reveal the artist’s dedication. The sight of the cat peacefully eating its food also brings a sense of comfort.
